    Pros

    Excellent environment to work at. Everyone treats each other like family and covers each other when needed. Frequent guests who return remember you and make you value your job even more. I worked with this company for 2 years and I valued every minute of it. The pay is decent but it is the team effort that really makes this job worth it.

    Cons

    Hospitality is not an easy branch of employment, it will require patience and an open mindedness in order to get each task done. Each branch has its unique bonuses but it would be great if there are department specific bonuses.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing and continue making guests feeling like this is a second home away from home.

    Growing brand within Hilton, very strong with business travellers, great standards, easy tools to use for revenue generation.

    Cons

    Franchise don't have to use everything Hilton dictates which sometimes can be challenging

    A Hellhole, Raciest and Unprofessional GM, Rooms Falling Apart, Dirty Floors/Carpets, No Lights In The Parking lot.

    I have been at HGI for almost 2 years. I absolutely love it the different people that I meet from all over, and it's a great company to work for. I know that my leadership team has my back.

    No down sides you get out what you put in!!

    Pros

    -Gain experience working in a fast pace environment when the hotel gets busy
    -The discounted rates at other Hilton brand hotels is nice
    -Gain knowledge in customer service

    Cons

    -You'll know when you're at the bottom of the barrel
    -Back office is more concerned with their commission and self-efficiency
    -You have to deal with some pretty difficult guests

    Advice to Management

    Work on making everyone feel important and do not take advantage of other people

    I feel a great part of the team at the Hilton, and they show they care about their employees, which is refreshing! Our Management team puts in hard work to make our hotel great.

    Benefits were good - health care & discounted hotel stays, reasonable salary for position

    Cons

    Management was terribly inconsistent with constant flow of new management - promises for growth with no follow through - Forced into working 3rd shift with the promise of being put on days that took years to happen - Little appreciation for how much work is put into a job

    Advice to Management

    Have more follow through - Require managers to be more consistent - More appreciation for employees who work harder than they are paid to

    I worked at Hilton Garden Inn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I worked here for a short period of time, however, it was an amazing experience. I worked in the housekeeping department and as fun as the job was, the people were even better. The team that they have is awesome! Everyone is so kind and genuine, they really brought me into their family and made me feel super comfortable so fast. It was a very nice feeling coming into work each morning and always getting a "Hi!" with a kind smile passed to me. The teamwork they share is just as splendid, everyone is always helping one another in any way possible. Though I did only work for housekeeping, every worker in the hotel was just as sweet and always had a smile on their face. This hotel is filled with an astonishing staff!

    Cons

    There are honestly no downsides to the line of work that I was in or the hotel in general. Everyone is hardworking, very clean, and so kind.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you are doing! You have hired amazing groups of people who are great at what they do!
