I worked at Hilton full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Location is near to downtown and North Raleigh

    Cons

Incompetent Management, high turnover, numerous negative reviews by past guest on Trip Advisor, Yelp and Social Media. Management talks down to their staff and does not "listen" to employees or guest concerns.

    I worked at Hilton

    Pros

Great relationship with co-management . Vacation is 5 days per year, insurance is reasonable, and the holiday party is very nice.

    Cons

The hotel is old and the hallways and rooms smell like mold. The kitchen is always dirty, a d roaches were crawling on the steam table. The General Manager offers no assistance, and never leaves his office. I was promised bonuses that I never recieved. There are no supplies to work with such as silverware, glasses, and coffee cups. The meal plan for their employees is terrible, and restaurant managers never have a chance to eat. Restaurant Managers work 65 hours a week for less than 32,000 a year!
