    Pros

Had a lot to learn and experimented a lot with my writing skills..

    Cons

The top management at the Mohali office wasn't great at all..I wish they were more co-operative and employee oriented..

There's a major gap between the employees (editorial) and HR...The HRM should be apprised of the employees situation and should take more initiative.

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Hindustan Times full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The brand of Hindustan Times has some value in the market. This is the only value I can think of .

    Cons

The only thing that Hindustan Times can boast of now is the new "News Room". Journalism has been reduced to the calling of the HR and Management, who have only interest in marketing. Mediocrity is celebrated as it is the only way that the presence of incompetent seniors can be justified. Old hands have been forced to leave due to bad pay, deteriorating work culture and overbearing management

    Advice to Management

Let Journalists do their work while Management should go back to selling whirlpool appliances.
