Pros
Working with one of the biggest newspapers in India As a reporter, working with HT helps you create a good portfolio The name recognition makes it easier to find jobs within the media industry
Cons
Highly bureaucratic Certain people are running the show especially in the New Delhi office and as a reporter your voice will be lost If you are reporting from the Delhi office, you won't be valued, you'll be underpaid and the bosses will make your life very difficult. It's a toxic environment irrespective of your gender.

Pros
1. If salary on time makes you happy then join 2. Easy interview, get refrence you will be selected same day. 3. No gender equality in terms of work- Women ratio is 10%, rest are males. 4. Higher management would never take/consider your feedback 5. Freebie - you won't get any thing not even a pen or newspaper. 6. If fixed salary makes you happy then go for it because there is no bonus /increament. 7. Wfh is possible. How can join? Those who are desperate to join or have worked in lesser known company can join. If you have worked in big MNC or are from IIMs IITs join if you getting pain very well.
Cons
1. If you are expecting Work life balance in ott play then hard luck. 2. There is no learning from senior manager /manager/company. 3. Whole company send important documents on WhatsApp.. I'm not kidding. 4. There is no concept of lunch or break and if you take one you would be asked to open your laptop and work at the same time 5. If you share this with HR they will listen to you will not provide any solution. 6. There is no recognition for permanent employee forget about contractual or intern 7. Save our most imp documents on Google sheet that too using private email id.. you ask why? Because higher management is not comfortable using MS Excel. Forget data safety/ data privacy 8. There is no team connect.. 9. You will feel frustrated EOD , no satisfaction guaranteed.
