Pros
Competitive salary, very friendly and helpful people, willing to work with new attorneys to help find the right fit, great all around
Cons
Contract work, so sometimes it can be a bit spotty depending on how a case may be proceeding or moving through the phases of litigation and discovery
Advice to Management
Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. She took the midnight train going anywhere. Just a city boy. Born and raised in south Detroit.
Pros
Good training, relative to industry.
Cons
Cannot trust the start date or length of project. Poor chairs, equipment, etc.
I worked at Hire Counsel full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
Better than not having a job at all.
Cons
The worst work/life balance, toxic people, almost inhumane work conditions, very poor management
Advice to Management
There is a lot of people that are demoralized. There are also a lot of wrong people working there. If this remains unchanged the company will not survive.

I worked at Hire Counsel full-time (More than a year)
Pros
professional and efficient with good training and nice management
Cons
Low pay Very low pay for an experienced attorney. That's why I'm no longer there accepting jobs. Not only is it low pay but the lost opportunity costs are HUGE in that you are busy 5-6 days per week, with no OT to lawyers so there is little or no time to handle other legal matters or seek other work.
Advice to Management
Be transparent about what your contracts are with the big firms so that the employee lawyers at least can fell they are getting a fair shake on what they are being paid. I don't think this model of yours over the long haul will continue to provide you quality lawyers if the pay is not increased substantially.
