I have been working at HireVue full-time

    Pros

    - Bosses who really want to help you succeed
    - Flexible time off, and most importantly, company culture that encourages people to use their time off
    - Well stocked kitchens
    - Good salaries/benefits

In general, you can really tell that HireVue believes that happy employees are good employees

    Cons

The only real downside is that the company is all the way down in South Jordan :)

    Advice to Management

    Keep caring about your employees

I have been working at HireVue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fully transparent company. Everybody knows what the goals and objectives are and the role they play in succeeding. Innovative product offering that's ahead of the competition. It's actually fun sharing our technology and what it can do for our clients. New leadership top notch and it shows in our FY performance!

    Cons

We move fast ... you have to be independent and make decisions on your own or proactively seek out guidance/answers. Everybody maxed out w/time and it can be challenging to get help or answers -- squeaky wheel gets the oil -- you need to SQUEAK!! Operating lean - we could do more with additional internal talent but we're conservative w/spending.

    Advice to Management

Need more internal resources to smooth out workflow and processes.

I have been working at HireVue full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

HireVue is awesome! Start up mentality with plenty of funding so you have the tools you need to do your job. Great benefits and great coworkers.

    Cons

Knowledge sharing can be tough given that most of the team is remote with about 50% at HQ and the rest working from home.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Employees value the trust and autonomy we are given to get our jobs done.

I have been working at HireVue full-time

    Pros

Salary and benefits are solid. You can learn something from everyone you meet as they are all experts in their area. Lots of cross functional collaboration.

    Cons

Culture has been a little disrupted with by many recent leadership changes. Shift toward more structure and rigor, but to be expected at this point in the company lifecycle.

    Advice to Management

Need more balance between hiring the best candidate and simply hiring to fill a position.

I have been working at HireVue full-time

    Pros

You can feel it - HireVue is on the verge of something exciting. We created the video interviewing space, and now we're disrupting the assessments market with really cool technology and science. Leadership has a strategy on how we're going to get there, we have our expenses under control, and customers really love us. Can't wait to be here as we skyrocket!

    Cons

We are going through a growing-up phase which isn't always easy, especially for people who were here in the earliest days.

    Advice to Management

Communicate regularly! We love to hear from you.

I have been working at HireVue full-time

    Pros

    PTO is not tracked
    Excellent pay
    Great benefits
    401K
    Stock grants
    Great work environment

    Cons

Going through a culture change as well as structural changes. Not bad changes, just changes which can be challenging to work through.

    Advice to Management

Keep making the necessary changes but don't lose what makes HireVue unique.

I have been working at HireVue full-time

    Pros

Hirevue has many of the pros of a startup: small teams, agile-ish independent decision making, great culture, benefits, etc but also has many of the pros of a established large corporation: stability, benefits, not worried about burn rate/VC funding, etc. It is a great time to work there. Having worked at the very large and the very small, I would gladly don my Goldilocks-cosplay and say "HireVue is just right".

    Cons

Puberty is awkward. Whether you are a pimple faced computer nerd or a company. Hirevue is going through puberty as it shifts from a idea/startup to a fully functioning business. It's not a grim outlook. Just like zit creme and braces helped many of us in becoming mostly-functioning adults, so are the changes in senior leadership/marketing/sales etc.

Long as we don't try to awkwardly flirt with Julie Taylor at the end of 7th period french class, the company is going to be a-okay...

    Advice to Management

Bring back the lunch program. Politically that was an extremely short-sighted PR nightmare with little gain. Also communicate more like was done at our internal summit - that level of passion inspires more than numbers.
