    Advice to Management

I worked at Hissho Sushi full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Paid decent amount of money. Learned a lot of new things. Saw a lot of places.

    Cons

Had to a total of 7 months straight. Wasn't correctly paid for the amount of work I had to do. Was often lied to by upper management. Was laid off when I returned home because they claim it was no work for us to do. Found out they hired a new team and was paying them lower that's why we were laid off.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring and firing people. Stop under paying people. Stop with all the fakeness you all display.

I worked at Hissho Sushi full-time

    Pros

If you get on your feet your can hire help and make your own hours. It is commission based. With the right location you can make great money. Hissho sells you good product.

    Cons

You file all paperwork, taxes, inventory, etc.. Your only day off until you put people in place is Christmas day. You will not truly be your own boss. Contractors have people to appease at Hissho home office and at partnering grocery store/location of sushi bar. You only get three days of training from Hissho when you take control of sushi bar. Read and understand your contract... fair warning.

    Advice to Management

Quit squeezing your contractors for every red cent. Find a way to reward contractors so they know you are grateful.

I have been working at Hissho Sushi full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I find the work environment to be stress free. I love making sushi and interacting with the customers. Most of my coworkers are a joy to work with. Hissho has given me the opportunity to advance within the company and I feel that is a great bonus and a wonderful adventure at this stage in my career.

    Cons

It is a lot of driving as a supervisor. I wish the company would provide a company car as well as the gas to get back and forth to each location.

    Advice to Management

Please provide company cars to the supervisors out in the field.
