    Pros

Flexible work hours and benefits/Insurance are good.

    Cons

Training and lab are not good; No salary increase for years. Some resource managers don't care about your workload is very high.

In recent company re-structure, let many talent technical people go, kind of silly.

    Advice to Management

    No interest to me.

I have been working at Hitachi Data Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

HDS is a mellow place to work, low stress. They are flexible about letting you work from home. Provides good work/life balance. Bonus plan can pay well if business is good. Some people say HDS is a good place to go to spend your last few years before you retire. Lots of older workers, very few high energy younger workers.

    Cons

HDS is NOT a market leader. They are a very reactive not proactive company with technology that is 5 years behind others in the industry. The core storage products are strong but the software that adds real value is weak. Management, in general, is weak. There are no stock options and pay is on the low side.
