    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

First of all that pay and benefits are TERRIBLE!!! As a recruiter, they set your goals unreachable as a way to never have to pay out bonuses. And just when you get close to those goals they change they way the bonuses are calculated making them unreachable again. Unfair work-life balance given to some and not others; preferential treatment of staff members. And lots of micromanagement! As a family owned and operated company; the owners make poor business decisions and are so out of touch with the TRUE industry! And not matter how good you are or how much profit you bring to the owners pockets- you will never be a respected employee!!! They are always saying they are going to make these BIG changes with aspirations of being the BEST agency but they are seriously just another staffing agency among the million others out there!

    Advice to Management

Throw in the towel or bring in someone who truly understands the industry.

I worked at Hobbie Professional full-time

    Pros

There are very few pros about this company although the internal staff (not including management) is very good to work with. They are very tenured and know the business.

    Cons

Hobbie is a family owned and operated company because of this the family makes a majority of the decisions which have proved to not always best for the company. Management lacks faith in their employees. They make promises of LARGE bonuses which are an insult to any experienced recruiter. Benefits are terrible. There is no growth opportunities and training is non-existent.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to research compensation and bonus plans and have them better aligned with industry standards.
