    Pros

There are very few pros for this company. The Agents are top notch, but as this is NOT a US company, and HRG has a very small percentage of business in US, they find us too expensive, insurance etc is very expensive to them so they pay very little of it. - as no other part of their firm is insured. They have a very hard time keeping management.

    Cons

One of the lowest paying large agencys in US. - They have lost many clients due to bad accounting systems etc. - Be aware, they offer no free tickets/no comp rooms earned/ very few benefits.

    Pros

Best benefits in the travel industry

    Cons

I have never seen a company run as inept as this one. There is poor communication between upper management and no support. Their back office software is cumbersome and increases the workload. If they had a better system, they could get rid of half their departments which run reports just to support the software!

They also run this company too lean because they're more concerned about extra $$ to the bottom line & to the stock holders instead of customer service. Their attitude is the customer needs to adjust to how this company operates instead of the company doing what they can to make the customer happy. I can't believe they're still in business with the way they treat their clients!

    Advice to Management

You need to start listening to the client and have some sort of urgency when it comes to providing service to them.

    Pros

people seem nice and friendly , you will not have many people coming to your desk saying you did something wrong .

    Cons

    pay is terrible,
some supervisors are very hard on there agents .
watch out you can let go without warning.
everybody knows your business, if something happens between you and a manger dont be surprised if everyone knows after.

    Advice to Management

increase pay , let agents know about things ahead of time.

    Pros

Flexible work from home policy, the company clearly believes in it and supports its virtual employees. Good, intelligent people in US management.

    Cons

Virtually no salary increases due to constant share price problems for the last several years. No bonuses. Headquartered in the UK, and the UK/Europe are far more important to the company than the US. US management does the best they can, but everything is driven from London.

    Advice to Management

Reward your employees. Annual salary increases go a long way toward happiness. Bonuses help, too.

    Pros

Met some great people during my time as a conference consultant for HRG, opportunity to work from home , good hotel discounts.

    Cons

Extremely high work loads and challenging bookings given to the consultants that 'are more experienced' leaving other equally longstanding consultants with smaller easier workloads to manage and a much easier life is very unfair and causes a lot of stress and anxiety to those that are good at the job- this is my reason for myself leaving the company. Staying over for 'free overtime' wasn't an option for those of us with the difficult bookings as otherwise the work would not get done! Weekly audits carried out were very picky and an insult to intelligence at times! Terrible pay considering the stresses that come with this job. Not very flexible for working parents.

    Advice to Management

Be good to the loyal members of staff too! Don't abuse someone's hard working nature by putting too much on them.
