I have been working at Hogg Robinson Group full-time

    Pros

Excellent benefits including a great amount of PTO.

    Cons

Poor leadership waters down the rest of the staff. Agents are treated as call center employees instead of the super star VIP agents we are.

    Advice to Management

Please communicate with the staff so we know what's going on. Not everything needs to be hush hush. A lot of lost accounts and no new accounts coming on board which means lay offs.

I worked at Hogg Robinson Group (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Client Account Manager was onsite weekly to meet with the client and available to address any issues that might arise. Offered limited access to software to assist in daily program management.

    Cons

Home office was located outside US. Operations Manager changed often throughout the vendor contract with little contact to employees working offsite/remotely.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with offsite/remote employees is necessary to maintain rapport and offer support. More training on available software for improved program management.

    Pros

Some of the best benefits I have ever had.

    Cons

Management need to stop managing the company to the stock price and manage based on the needs of the clients. They are running way to lean. There are just not enough people to do their jobs correctly. Everyone is completely overwhelmed. The emphasis is build revenue, but they are not building the infrastructure to support the increase in revenue.

    Advice to Management

Manage the needs of the clients and the stock pricess will follow.

I worked at Hogg Robinson Group full-time

    Pros

Relatively good benefits - health, dental, vision, fitness, good vacation days; access to travel discounts. Good place to start and gain experience.

    Cons

Low salaries; no increase; no bonuses; no performance evaluation or subjective; growth opportunities - subjective; lack of good management; management is concerned mostly with their own personal wellness; poor organization of work; management does not appreciate the people's contribution to the company's success and is not committed to retain its personnel.

    Advice to Management

It is good to remember that the company's success depends to a large degree on its employees' satisfaction.

    Pros

Great teams, exciting projects & technology

Too few staff in central service teams to support workload. Many people in support roles with sub-par experience.

Management is reactive and fails to plan ahead

    Advice to Management

listen to your staff & plan ahead for how t manage all outcomes, including the bad, instead of changing direction every time there's a glitch

    Pros

Great co workers with a diverse group mentality. Fantastic team spirit and the desire to service business accounts as well as improve on travel technology in the region.

    Cons

The Upper Management issues were ongoing in that staff were continuously removed in attempts to compensate for lost accounts. There was no vision for future growth instead a reactive stance to revenue.
