I worked at Holborn Assets full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is one of the fast growing in the industry. They allow people to grow & give enough chance to prove themself. They help all the hard workers and teach them to become better managers. I stand by this statement. It is a good place to start the career and move up in the society. They will not be able to make every one happy. But they are trying to change many peoples lives as possible, as far as I know. They have some wonderful directors like Mr. Simon Parker, Mr. John Parker they are wonderful people. I wish them all the very best and good luck.

    My experiance was fentastic.

    Cons

Yes. Of course, they have room to improve. As far as I know, they always trying to improve the organization, which I am sure they will.

    Advice to Management

Keep up all the good work and keep recognize employees as they always do.

I worked at Holborn Assets part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Friendly company with a nice team of people who were happy to help me with career advice and share. They pay the best rates in the market and is a rapidly growing company (this was the Dubai office) lots of events outside the office that are all paid for by Holborn Assets which are not mandatory but lots of people get involved

    Cons

    Nothing I can think of

I worked at Holborn Assets full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Good work environment
    - Nice cafeteria
    - Free coffee and tea

    Cons

    - Politics by admin staff who has been working there longer, causing gossip and badmouthing people
    - Low salary for a highly technical position
    - No career growth in long term
    - Lots of 'immediate supervisor' where you get orders from

    Advice to Management

Review your salary range for people who are working for you and don't listen to all side story rather do your own investigation.

I have been working at Holborn Assets full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

you can go up if you can make the boss laugh and if you have a doggy mouth

    Cons

It's better always check the google reviews. In Holborn there are people who are trying to sell company secrets to other companies. To IBLF and Stock port associates. Some people know this but stay silent. 2-3 tamil people in a 3rd world country (which has their call center) tried to do this but never know what has happened. Even though they cannot, they will not stop trying it. So be careful when u invest. Your personal and financial information could be shared everywhere soon. Poor James!!.

    Advice to Management

People who never listen, learn by the lesson

I have been working at Holborn Assets full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A very friendly environment to work at especially with an excellent support fom the management. Colleagues turned to be friends. the work load is manageable

    Cons

It takes a very long time to come to work in the morning, preferable if the company can provide transport it would be great apart from that all happy.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for all the support you have given especially with my education and this is not an advice but a suggestion it would be nice to have a company logo, outside of the building.

I have been working at Holborn Assets full-time

    Pros

One of the main reason I have been with the company for so long is the people... They are all very friendly and ready to help, almost like a family.

The management is really supportive and approachable.

    Cons

The lifts! The wait takes forever! But not really Holborn's fault but Al Shafar's.

    Advice to Management

The company is growing so fast you don't get to know everybody anymore so I guess a more effective way of introducing new staff / advisers?

    Pros

I have been at Holborn Assets now for a total of 2 months and to this date am all round happy with everything.

My role is that of Fund Administration Team Leader whereby I am in-charge of a team of people, that are all very great to work with and we get along great both in and outside of work.

Other perks of the job include the friendly working environment, great management and that the commute to work and back everyday is very short as I live close to the office.

    All Round happy to date.

    Cons

There is not enough paper towels in the washrooms.

    Advice to Management

More paper towels in wash room.
