I worked at Holland Square Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are no obvious pros to working here. There are a lot of inexperienced people working here.

    Cons

The owners/managers of this company are like ghosts. They don’t address the employees and you hardly see them. When they are in the office they are invisible and stay in their offices, despite this being a small office. It was a very odd environment.

    Advice to Management

    Build relationships with your employees.

I worked at Holland Square Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No micro management - can make good commission

    Cons

Long hours, no professional development, no transparency, feels like walking into a high school deans office. Salary and benefits are horrible.

    Advice to Management

Avoid the politics and coach up the entire team not just one or two people.

    Pros

Great support from a company that is in close contact when their people are in the field. Always available and addresses issues in a timely manner.

    Cons

Clients on-boarding process too lengthy. There are few career opportunities unless you create them yourself.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I worked at Holland Square Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The office atmosphere and people were the best parts of the job. Flexible management provided you are hitting your threshold. Okay training.

    Cons

Not enough communication across the board. Saw internwl employees departure happen seemingly by surprise. Staffing is a tough industry.

    Advice to Management

Have honest conversation about where recruiters stand far enough in advance to prevent employees from being caught by surprise with termination. Otherwise an enjoyable experience.

Flexible and understanding management team. Collaborative Environment. Open Door Policies. Up to date technologically. Large growth potential. Excellent compensation. Forward thinking. Fun (sense of humor). Decent benefits. Honest Mgmt.

    Cons

Could be more organized. Better PTO for new hires.

    Pros

Good people and teammates, lots of growth potential. Progressive office atmosphere.

    Cons

Be prepared to work hard. Their metrics and weekly standards for their recruiters are very high. Although, their employees are on salary expect to work 8-5 and really more then that. They are very hourly conscience. They expect you to work all the time. If you haven't don't recruiting before then you might be in trouble. Their training is not very thorough. Very basic outline which doesn't help much because IT jobs are extremely specific in what they are looking for.

    Advice to Management

Higher salaries, better training, better work from opportunities for those in the office environment.

I worked at Holland Square Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of good people working there. It is a competitive environment which weeds a lot of people out but once you get past that, everyone that I encountered was more than willing to help if you have questions. Training program is very informative and if you stick to the process you will find success. It's an open environment so you can learn from listening to more seasoned recruiters there.

    Cons

Cons really aren't of the company but more of the industry as a whole. Lots of ups and downs and candidates are not very loyal at times which can lead to additional stress.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Maybe a little more communication from upper management on business goals and expectations for the near future.
