I worked at Home Helpers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The staff & leadership were very helpful. The office staff were very nice. If you couldn't pick up a shift they didn't pressure you to do. They did an exit interview which is good especially if you want your organization to be the best.

    Cons

Perhaps a better way to get time sheets in on time. Driving to Scottsburg from my home wasn't always feasible.

    Pros

You get a pay check versus no job

    Cons

Low pay, owners expect you to be at their beckon call, unreasonable requests, owners barely know how to operate a business, need help with their professionalism hiring / training employees.

Change your Wardrobe, hire better help, pay at least $9.50 per hour, provide health insurance, and more

I have been working at Home Helpers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've worked as a caregiver for Home Helpers of Middle Tennessee for two years now and have really enjoyed it. The pay is the best in the area, and management is very supportive. We are not obligated to accept or stay on with any assignment at which we're not comfortable. Management is great on communications, and hours are flexible. Our pay is direct deposited, and weekly schedules are sent 3 days in advance by email. I'm proud to work for this company and really feel like we provide exceptional care.

    Cons

I'm anticipating (and at the time of this review, need) more hours since management is working to solicit new clients.

I worked at Home Helpers full-time

    Pros

    Great clients and easy work

    Cons

Always asking you to take shifts, bribery for shifts, don't remember pre-assessed schedules (I was taken off a schedule that I was told I was on). Then after 3 weeks and putting in my two week notice, I haven't been paid for a week and a half since payday and I requested direct.
