I have been working at Home Helpers part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've worked as a caregiver for Home Helpers of Middle Tennessee for two years now and have really enjoyed it. The pay is the best in the area, and management is very supportive. We are not obligated to accept or stay on with any assignment at which we're not comfortable. Management is great on communications, and hours are flexible. Our pay is direct deposited, and weekly schedules are sent 3 days in advance by email. I'm proud to work for this company and really feel like we provide exceptional care.

    Cons

I'm anticipating (and at the time of this review, need) more hours since management is working to solicit new clients.

I worked at Home Helpers full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Office staff is amazing and work really hard. Really care about their clients and employees. Flexibility with time off.

    Cons

Field staff takes on clients that are too difficult for a non-medical hha to take care of. Pay is low for some of the assignments. No raises. No real employee handbook.

I have been working at Home Helpers part-time

    Pros

Everyone at the office is always pleasant. They try to work with your schedule and pair you with people you would be a good match for.

    Cons

They pay the lowest in the region and probably the state. They are started of at around $9.50 -10.50 at the most. Others are paying $12 -$15. Think they should step it up.

I worked at Home Helpers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A lot of hours to work if you are good at your job and the clients like you. The management used to be very nice, but also have high expectations. I used o like working there but it also been years so i do not know how it is to work for them now.

    Cons

They ask you to jump in for other aides all the time and sometimes i ended up with a 12 to 16 h shift. No benefits no paid time off or anything like that but you end up working crazy hours.
