I have been working at Home Point Financial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Home Point is a wonderful place to work. The leadership truly cares about their team and is always giving back when and where possible. The COVID-19 outbreak was a difficult time for the industry, but instead of laying people off, the company looked for ways to financially support their employees. If you're looking for flexibility (remote work), growth opportunities, and support from your employer - this is the place for you.

    Cons

The company is growing rapidly and a lot of the team is based remotely so it can be difficult to get to know the team... however, weekly All Hands meetings and regular communication with the team are helpful!

    Pros

    Cons

Everyone was remote, to an extent, but some still lost their jobs so the company could move the positions to Ann Arbor.

    Pros

The CEO is fantastic; honest; has integrity; cares about staff and the customer; listens and has weekly all hands virtual meetings which includes a real time/live Q&A portion where anyone in the company can ask questions and receive immediate live answers. I HIT THE BEST PLACE TO WORK EVER LOTTERY! SO looking forward to being a loyal, trusted and hard working individual! GO HOME POINT!

    Cons

Zero Cons... how many people can say that where they work???

I have been working at Home Point Financial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I've only been with Home Point for a few months but am very impressed at the work being done. Part of my work has been to manage complaints coming in and help borrowers get connected to someone who can help. After speaking with the customer care team, I've had multiple borrowers send a note of thanks for helping them. Home Point has also launched multiple programs during the COVID-19 crisis including a fund to help associates that was started by the leadership. When it was announced, multiple people asked how they could donate to help their colleagues. They've also made it mandatory for all employees to take a day off before the end of May because they know working from home and our current climate has been stressful. Is there a lot of work to be done? Yes. But I don't feel like I can't do what I'm tasked with and I can always ask for clarification without feeling fearful of speaking up. And I never feel pressured to work extra long hours or on the weekend.

    Cons

Processes are being worked out as things come up which can be tricky. But once the process is defined, it helps moving forward.
