Not a good long term employer

Feb 15, 2022 - Helpdesk Technician in Seattle, WA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    Easy to get in to.

    Cons

Employees in IT are out for themselves and do not willingly share knowledge. Past Helpdesk manager was abusive and was eventually let go but not before driving some employees to tears and choosing favoritism over others. Brown nosing will get you far. Benefits are lacking. Little job security and demanding hours with little payoff. Did I mention layoffs and mentally unstable coworkers? Professionalism was lacking.

    Pros

    Cons

Poor company culture... it used to be magnificent, but company has lost its way. Living on its reputation and that won't last for much longer. Pay is very much not competitive.
