    I worked at HomeTelos full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent pay, decent benefits, very nice co-workers, management mostly professional, pleasant and reasonable. I only left because a government job I had applied for long before I started at HomeTelos finally came through. Otherwise, I would have gladly stayed.

    Cons

    A few of my co-workers talked non-stop while working, making sophomoric and gross jokes at one another's expense. I felt bad for the few guys who worked there...it was mostly the women who were crass. Lots of other co-workers were fine, just a couple near me were jerky.

    Advice to Management

    None, really. I don't have a bad word to say.

    Pros

    They're really good at combining technology and customer service and have had success in that. The people that I worked with were good folks.

    Cons

    Most everyone at this company is treated like a pee-on. Employees feel very expendable. At the first sign of work slowing down, they start laying people off. I made it through several rounds of layoffs and then went on to pursue other interests, but I saw many get the ax.

    Advice to Management

    I would recommend management put some money away for those difficult slow times in order to retain the people that are good. Nobody wants to move up in a company that lays people off like that.

    Pros

    ..pay is OK if you consider you will be doing the work of three or four people...

    Cons

    everything...no personal growth, managers don't give a hoot about the workers, they say they do but bottom line is a resounding NO!, they don't judge you on your experience and work ethic they judge on how much they can get away with at your expense... they manage your life if you let them...

    Advice to Management

    Be real... not hypocrites... and don't lie to staff

    its a job, it beats being out of work

    Cons

    bosses are high strung, the pay is subpar, the benefits are terrible, I am broke and need to pay the rent and a car payment.

    they know everything, you cannot talk to them
