    I worked at HomeWorld full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Family run business. Everyone gets along well with other. Commission based. The more you sell, the more you make. If you are a good people person, you will be successful.

    Cons

    Have to work on mostly every holiday. Inventory has always been a major problem. Always a disconnect with the merchandising department.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure stock is available all the time and be positive and support sales staff.

    Pros

    Really great job, definitely enjoy it, love writing and editing and all the fun stuff I get to do here.

    Cons

    Really wish that the pay was better! Also frustrated by lack of feedback.

    for my family,to help them for financial difficulties.

    Pros

    Nice store, nice people, pretty good benefits and salary.

    Cons

    Favoritism, training sucks, ever changing schedule....
    The company as a whole is more concerned with $$ than its people.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your people! There is an extremely high turnover for a REASON!
