    I worked at Homebase Limited full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    People and camaraderie at peer level was great. Range of products increasing all the time into Homebase stores to drive product range.

    Cons

    Balance of leadership since takeover varies. Interesting view to establish a format that does not fit in existing Homebase stores will work with roll out of Bunnings Brand.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to those team members who know the Homebase business as still have to trade until Bunnings format implemented.

    Pros

    A great company to work for that pay reasonable well.

    Cons

    The company needs to organise themselves slightly better so that they are in a place to take the competition on. IT tend to drive the strategic agenda as opposed to operations. They spend too much time getting the business requirements wrong in the first instance.

    Advice to Management

    Look after you people better and you will get more out of them.
