I have been working at Honda full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, and proud to say I worked at this great company. Working here will bring out the best of anyone.

    Cons

Are no cons, I enjoyed everything about working here. As I worked here I learned a lot. If you can handle stress

I worked at Honda full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You do not have to do much work besides yell at all the contractors who do the work and are so scared that they will always say yes to you.

    Cons

J Staff - and you know what that is basically get a recent grad from Japan to be the lead for something they are not capable of doing. So dumb. All you need to ask is how many Americans are employed at Honda - its less then 10% easy...

    Advice to Management

Move the company back to Japan and stop pretending to be an American firm.

    Pros

Great place to learn and develop as an engineer. Pay and benefits packages are competitive. Job is not boring. 20 word minimum.

    Cons

It is far from civilization. Columbus is a nice city but it is an hour drive away. At least there isn't any traffic.

    Pros

Paid on salary & compensated for OT. Do not have to worry about what you will wear due to the uniform policy. Office is surprisingly relaxed compared to the culture that seems to be portrayed by other people.

    Cons

Long distance to plant regardless of where you live. The performance reviews are extremely strict. Turnover rate at the company seems to be on the rise.

    Advice to Management

I would advise management to put in place less strict office rules. The fact that office workers are not allowed to have coffee at their desk is a bit ridiculous.

I have been working at Honda full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Hands on experience. very hot the ground running type of job. Opportunity to develop skills and grow

    Cons

Not a meritocracy. Have to put in x amount years before being able to get promoted. Old school mentality with aversion to change. Slowly changing however not on industry par

    Advice to Management

Invest in creating an environment to retain new engineers.

    Pros

Exciting place to work, great people.
