What’s the best way to have a lack of compensation and incentive conversation in your department? I went above and beyond for years doing extra work, organizations etc and nothing has been reflected in pay. I thought my 5 year was going to finally show something but it did not. I’ve inquired about pay but it’s gotten nowhere.

Call Center That Focuses On Customers And Employees

Nov 22, 2022 - Customer Service Representative in Wilmington, DE
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

The bond formed among my coworkers and the effort that was put in to let us know that our hard work was appreciated are both pros in my opinion. I do feel valued and recognized for the effort I put in.

    Cons

Depending on which part of the company you work with, you may have a different experience regarding support and appreciation. Periodically, corporate will change policies in a way that negatively impacts our ability to do our jobs. There's also been a handful of opportunities where they could have changed or implemented new policies that would have improved our ability to do our jobs, but nothing was ever done. It's rumored that soon focus is going to switch from quality to quantity. If that shift does happen, I think it will negatively impact the work environment and our relationship with customers.

    It's alright

Nov 29, 2022 - Lead Customer Accounts Representative in Irving, TX
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

In this position, they allow you to manage your case load. Supervisors really aren't micro-managing. Supervisors are very helpful, the understand you might not understand complex processes.

    Cons

The workload can be very demanding. Many times you must work 12 hours to keep up with case load. Times where you work certain cases but then they tell you to work them differently at other times. Provide better training instead of just the basic training when entering a new job role.

    You’re basically a working machine

Jun 16, 2022 - Customer Service Representative in Irving, TX
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    Great benefits, coworkers are nice

    Cons

Super heavy workload, supervisors are always micromanaging. You are constantly shoved extreme metrics that you have to meet down your throat and if you don’t meet then, they make you feel like you won’t work there anymore. You cannot work on cases during your work hours so you have to stay extra long hours to work on cases. No type of work life balance. Supervisors are constantly monitoring what you do. If you work here , don’t stay here long. You get treated like a working machine or a slave. You have to be glued to the computer working all day to meet exaggerated metrics. Avoid this place if you can. You even have to ask to go to the restroom bc it takes from your available time. It’s horrible.
