I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are literally so many benefits and perks, I don't use them all. Free catered lunches, commuter benefits, $100 in Lyft credits, One Medical membership, Gym membership options, etc. You really have to pick and choose because there are so many. Everyone who works here is an absolute angel and it really does feel like a second family.

    Cons

Thank you for sharing your feedback! While I'd love to believe that there's nothing to improve, I'm sure if you give it more thought, you can come up with a couple of bullet items we can work on! My cubicle is always open. Come by when you think of something so we can problem solve ...

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

HoneyBook is making a huge difference in the creative industry and continues to shape the way their clients run their business. It's rewarding to be a part of a team that directly works with potential clients and hear how much of a difference HoneyBook will make for them.

    Cons

The HoneyBook sales team is pretty small. It is very rewarding but there aren't many options to progress into a management role.

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Fun employees, fun product, fun customers, fun industry. Very smart people to work with. They don't try to change who you are, but strengthen your strengths. Lots of love and friendship between everyone in the company.

    Cons

SF-TLV constant work is a challenge, except for that this place is a dream, I wouldn't change anything. Love it.

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time

      Pros

-Responsive management team (if you're the type of person to make constructive suggestions you'll find they get implemented pretty fast) / people care about trying to make this place better every day. -New talent is coming into the company with a lot of experience and bringing the culture in the direction of being more analytical / data driven. It's what we need for the next stage. -Culture, you can feel it when...

      Cons

-Things change fast, it's kind of what you sign up for in a startup of this stage. One quarter X is a top focus, the next quarter something else is the top focus. If you need total stability you probably wouldn't like working here or any growing startup. I think it's important to figure out if you like change or not.

      Advice to Management

Work hard to ensure that new leaders in the company have a smooth transition and get set up to succeed!

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      - Easy to have your voice/ideas heard and implemented, in both product and internal processes - Entry to Mid-Level employees have a large impact on the business compared to other companies - Ability to take on special interest projects if you can justify need with data - Brilliant, inspiring leadership - Awesome culture

      Cons

      - Constant organizational changes - Distribution of resources/headcount across teams could be more fair

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for more than a year

      Pros

-It's actually fun to come in to work every day, and spend time with people you like -Management actively invests in the development of each individual, and gives both time and resources for people to succeed -Honest feedback is encouraged and sought out -Benefits are generous, hours are flexible. It's a work-hard culture, but they understand that we're all humans and things come up. -Metrics are transparent -- nobody...

      Cons

-Goals can change quickly from quarter to quarter. This is a fast-pace, growing company, and it comes with some growing pains. If you sign up for a role that will be the same for multiple years, you're coming to the wrong place -- expect to be pulled into new projects consistently. -When I first started, employee turnover was a big issue -- it seems to have slowed down, and the people who work here are aligned to their...

      Advice to Management

-The CEO and COO are very active with individual employees who aren't direct reports, engaging with them and learning about their work and lives, and also asking for feedback. I'd like to see this practice extend to the rest of the C-Suite -- they don't often take the time to get to know individual employees, although they are welcoming if you seek them out.

I have been working at HoneyBook full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Beautiful office space, lots of perks, unlimited vacation, and the opportunity to work with a fantastic group of highly motivated individuals. Your voice is heard no matter what part of the totem pole you're on, and transparency really is ensured and encouraged. From a sales perspective- it's an excellent opportunity to get to sell a product with very tangible benefits to an overall extremely welcoming target demographic...

      Cons

Being a start up, of course there will be some late nights...but overall, those nights are always rewarded and support is always there when you need it.

      Advice to Management

Keep allocating resources to marketing to get the brand name out there- the rebrand was an incredible step to getting some real traction, but we still have some ways to go. Don't let up the foot on the gas pedal!

        Cons

-The people & culture are amazing - this is hard to come by and we haven't compromised this at all even as we've scaled headcount -Mission and creative economy we are serving - i innately believe in what we are doing -Core values are actually real and lived by - they mean something and drive our behavior -Beautiful office space -Female empowerment -No office drama, little politics

        Cons

Though we are getting more seasoned, tenured execs in, leadership is generally young and inexperienced

        Pros

It is rare to find a workplace that cares so deeply about your personal growth development in *addition* to your professional development. At HoneyBook, employees set goals, build networks, and cultivate lifelong relationships. The work is hard but the reward is tremendous. Cons

Because it is a young company there are many changes that can happen! One must be open to change and able to think on their feet quickly. We are constantly learning and adjusting in accordance, it is very exciting but is not without its challenges.

        Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. It is wonderful that there is so much openness and transparency within management. As the company grows try and maintain this, as it is core to HoneyBook's special and unique culture.
