I have been working at Hood Packaging (More than a year)

    Pros

The night time supervisors are great to work with!

    Cons

Alot of drama and favoritism. Certain supervisor there just to collect a paycheck expects more from you and won't even do it himself. Dont care what the people have going on with their lives.Talk to you any old way no respect. No leadership!!

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes. If the employees can see that a supervisor is there just to collect a paycheck why can't the BIG boss see it!

    Pros

The only pro to being employed with this company is the pay.

    Cons

The stress level management forces on their employees is overwhelming. Management do not care about their employees, they only want you there. If you are sick and contagious it does not matter to management that you are producing food grade products, as long as you are their. It is so bad there that the shift supervisors lie to cover their own mistakes. And then when a supervisor refuses a drug test, he is kept on salary in the same position. No wonder the employees on the floor hate their jobs, and don't care about making the production standards.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the owner Mr. Hood, evaluate the way management is running your business into the ground. Also, determine the moral of your employees. Raise moral as a company in whole and increase production.
