    Pros

    Cons

Some rude clients, one terrible manager

    Advice to Management

Fire bad managers, many people quit because of 1 manager

I have been working at Hooters (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fun place to work. Relatively easy and straight forward systems. No major office politics but can improve on pay scales

    Cons

Needs better pay structure. Workers should be better compensated for their work. Especially as the company asks for more and more of the work force

    Advice to Management

Build team more for betterment and promotions that are matched with pay

    I worked at Hooters part-time

    Pros

    - 3 of the managers are great. The other one, not so much.
    - a few friendly girls
    - most of the cooks are nice
    - bus boys are great and attentive

    Cons

There’s one manager who is unprofessional. She has favorites and isn’t afraid to make it obvious. Once the favorites speak about a girl they dislike, she begins picking on them as well.
    - most of the girls aren’t friendly. They pick on you and think they can boss you around (such as cleaning their sections and making you clean the same spot over and over) just because you’re new.
    - very competitive amongst some girls.
    - drama 24/7.

    Advice to Management

Renew your staff Fresh Meadows. Some girls aren’t worth keeping. Same goes for that one manager who used to be the cook.

I worked at Hooters full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love being in an upbeat atmosphere. The customers were friendly and fun! Some assume that men come to hooters more, But here the male to female ratio was balanced most days.

    Cons

Only Con (which cant really be changed) is the fact the restaurant was in West Monroe. We were usually slow because most potential guest drive by a plethora of restaurants and don't even know Hooters exist, in the little corner where it is.

    Advice to Management

    Keep Being Amazing!!

I have been working at Hooters full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get money on the daily. Dress up days are cool as well. Its fun taking pictures with customers almost every day.

    Cons

There are alot of issues. For one, they dont even pay their host a min wage. They get a tip out from the servers percentage of SALES. Some hosts walk out with $30 make $2 an hour just like servers. How much sense does that make? Tip out is 2% of your total sales. Some
customers dont tip according to the 15% thing that they are suppose to do. So you could be tipping out $16 and walk home with only $60. There is no gratuity anymore. So big parties can come and be difficult and only leave you $10 on a $300 tab. Also at the end of the night, you HAVE to declare 14% of your sales as your tips. Even if u dont make that much. Since thats the case, you wont even get paid the difference if you didnt even make min wage. The hours are long and you get no break. They will schedule you for doubles and wont provide you with a free meal or break. You may get cut early. Its just bad business period. The worst job i have EVER had.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your employees
