  1. "none"

    Planner/Scheduler in Stockton, CA

I worked at Horizon Milling for more than 10 years

Started as a utility worker 21 years and worked all the way up to Scheduler/Planner (Mill/Bulk/Pack and Wheat)

There was no issues or downside working for this company.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Horizon Milling full-time

Management is pretty good, they involve the employees in a lot of meetings and decision making, company-provided lunches, thorough training programs, and pretty decent pay.

The work environment is rough--dusty, hot, sometimes long days. It's not the kind of job you look forward to going to every day. Some questionable decisions are made as well.

    Advice to Management

Swing shifts--especially every other week--are terrible. Re-work schedules.
