I worked at Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana part-time

    Pros

The only pro is once you have been there a few years the paid time off is good for full time personnel

    Cons

everything managment are quite to write you up over nothing , co workers are not always easy to get along with the pay on entry level is not above $10.00hr and there are stupid crazy they expect way more out of you than they pay you for the job that you do and raises rarely happen not a good place to work oh and if a guest does something wrong it is always your fault and in most cases you will be punished up to being fired due to the stupidity of the guest

    Advice to Management

back up you employees and stop bowing g down to guest when they cry and complain you don't have to compromise guest service but should be more considerate to the people who help you retain a job

I have been working at Horseshoe Casino Southern Indiana full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

some perks, rewards points help you get free stuff

    Cons

actually double pointed employees for not making it to work due to a state of emergency where the roads were inaccesable. unproductive employees are not dealt with, they are allowed to continue to slack while good employees are overlooked. easiest way to get fired is to go to management. Union wont do you any good. supervisors will not point everybody for being late, only the ones they want to see fired. Guests are allowed to basically get away with treating employees like crap. They encourage people to bring their kids and leave them unattended in hotel rooms. No work / life balance due to poor scheduling and they want everyone there on weekends and hilidays

    Advice to Management

pull your head out of your behinds and see who is really behind all the hard work
