I worked at Hospice Care of South Carolina full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a job. There is not one good thing I can say about this job. They work you to death and pay you the least of any hospice.

    Cons

Everything else. They will throw their employees under the bus when it benefits them. Terrible pay. No help from administration.

    Advice to Management

    Straighten your crap up.

    Pros

Worked with some great and hard working people on the local level.

    Cons

Senior leadership lacked just that - leadership. There was no clear direction and it continually changed dependent upon who you were talking to. There was very little "carrot" and a whole lot of "stick" creating an unpleasant work environment.

    Pros

Working with families in need and charting is easier Than most computer programs

    Cons

No teamwork. Poor leadership in individual counties and not accurate in jon description. Caseloads not managed.

    Advice to Management

When someone offers a notice - pay it. It's the right thing to do. After all you asked for a notice
