I worked at Hoss's Steak and Sea House part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fellow co-workers made things bearable, most of the costumers where very sweet and kind. Could kinda go and very into your groove with it much interruption.

    Cons

Higher management want involved with the going ons of the floot, everyone wad left to fend for them selves and if you did something negate they couldn't be bothered to come out front and do their job they would get extremely irritated and get attitude.

    Advice to Management

    Deligate, treat your employees kindly,

    Pros

They are a good company to work for, and the upper level management does a good job of recognizing a good days work. They are also very proactive on continuing education, and wanting their employees to do better.

    Cons

The pay for the company is about average when compared to other restaurant companies. I would like to see them try to pay their best employees more money so they can retain them longer.

    Advice to Management

Invest more money in your hardest workers who are valuable to the function of the company. Retaining them can go a long to helping keep the company great.

I worked at Hoss's Steak and Sea House part-time

    Pros

It is a good first job

    Cons

You barely get any hours and if you call off sick the manager gets very mad and will give you the cold shoulder until you quit.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so many people so your employees can work more.

I worked at Hoss's Steak and Sea House part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a very decent job for starting out. It is a good way for me to learn the restaurant trade.

    Cons

Everything was alright overall, of course management and working there wasn't perfect. It can sometimes be a high stress job.
