I am genuinely sorry to hear your comments but also a little surprised at the points you raise.

    Pros

Respected product in the marketplace. Some great mid level management. CRO is incredible but he may have arrived too late to fix this.

    Cons

Why do we come to work at Host Analytics? I guarantee you if you asked most that people they wouldn't know. No one knows the plan for the company or what they are working towards. Hard to feel passion when that is the case.

A few horrible decisions from the top have really set the company back... but most senior execs are very disconnected from people in the field, which means loyalty from employees is almost non existent.

I'm not saying have drinks with them all the time, but at least ask for input from people on the front lines.

The big thing at Host is their focus on customers, but they forgot to focus on their own employees. When people don't feel cared for, positioned for success, or appreciated, how do you expect the company to thrive?

It's very difficult to get deals done.

And please, somebody help the marketing department.

I'd say our world-class new CRO, and the strong sales leaders he has attracted, is just in time to scale the company to be IPO ready over the next couple of years. So much so that sales reps who left... More
