Pros
I have had two different recruiters through Host, both have been wonderful. My current recruiter Elyse is very professional, timely, and always follows up on any questions or concerns I have. The app and time clock are easy to use and the software is user friendly. I chose to work with Host for my first travel assignment and am so glad I did.
Cons
Only con there is is that sometimes job listings aren’t always through Host, but that is no one’s fault but the healthcare institution.

Like no other recruiter
Mar 28, 2023 - Registered Nurse in Boston, MARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have worked with my recruiter Sarah at Host Healthcare for over three years and she is the reason why I continue to travel as a nurse. In the beginning she took the time to fully explain the recruiter/traveler relationship and how I can best survive in this business. It’s not easy. Sarah has a gift to help guide and motivate without pressuring you into an assignment. I encounter issues (small and big) with most of my contracts, there are so many variables and that’s just part of the game. Sarah listens and provides me with reliable advice each time. Does she talk and text me for hours listening to my questions and concerns? No, but her efficiency and effectiveness with the time she has helps me to focus on why I started and continue to travel. She genuinely cares about my well-being. I could go on for pages, but I’ll save it for further reviews. Sarah and Host Healthcare have helped developed a pathway that I foresee being what I do for the rest of my nursing career. Thank you Sarah!

Great Agency & Recruiter
Apr 19, 2023 - Registered Nurse, BSN in Tampa, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Being with a great travel agency, like Host Healthcare, is important but a recruiter can make or break your traveling experience based on their overall attitude and how responsive they are. My recruiter has been the absolute best! Dave is knowledgeable, professional, and always super nice. He has made the traveling experience a very easy process, frequently checking in throughout contracts & responding very quickly w/ texts, calls & emails. There have been no hiccups or issues regarding my pay, onboarding, knowing start dates, where to go, or what to do. It's been really smooth sailing with Dave & Host Healthcare. I would definitely recommend him & Host Healthcare!
Cons
I have not experienced any cons with this agency or my recruiter

Pros
Very timely responses; my recruiter is motivated to help me find assignments and figure out issues when they arise with contracts Multiple job opportunities; my recruiter is very helpful in figuring out contract logistics Very friendly atmosphere; my recruiter checks in on me periodically and makes sure each assignment is a good fit!
Cons
So far, I do not have many cons. If anything, some states where I have a license have no job listings but I don’t know if that’s necessarily the companies fault.

Best company and an even better recruiter
Mar 25, 2023 - Travel NurseRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Extremely responsive and friendly recruiters. Kristian Branson is the best recruiter I have ever worked with. His response time is almost instant and will call and check in with you almost every week to make sure everything is going well with your assignment and that your needs are met. I am always in constant communication with him. Along with his impeccable repose times, he is extremely hard working and will continue to fight to get you the perfect job opportunity. If he ever retires I will be devastated. Host Healthcare and Kristian will continue to be my #1 choice when it comes to travel nursing.
Cons
There are not a ton of jobs with great pay. On the website, you are not able to search for jobs just by compact states. They also do not post a large number of new jobs.
