    Pros

    -Great company to work for if you have a strong work ethic and refuse to lose mentality.
    -Your opinion matters.
    -Leadership will fight for you
    -Family type environment
    -Taco Fridays
    -Flexibility

    Cons

    -multiple internal systems can make the job efficiency challenging
    Advise:
    -Don't come here if you expect things to be given to you.
    -expect to do more than what you are hired for.
    -be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.

    Pros

    Free food once a week, semi-flexible work hours, plenty of vacation time, low stress work environment.

    Cons

    Pay could be a little better, and more people on each shift would be nice.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up, maybe add one more person to each shift.

    Pros

    Tons of professional smart people, very flat management structure, empowerment and "work hard and win" spirit, customer intimacy and care is in the DNA, a Cloud Platform Managed App services company with a human face, Hostway Your Way !!!

    Cons

    Need more than 24 Hr a day so we can transform our company even faster, for the benefit of our clients and employees

    Keep the pedal to the metal

    I have been working at Hostway full-time

    Pros

    Great company undergoing a significant amount of positive Change and evolution. New leadership brings with it a unique vision on product and operations from larger MSP footprints. Sales team is young but is eager to learn from seasoned veterans. Great benefits and work environment, I'd suggest you pursue an opportunity here if there is a potential fit

    Cons

    In the past, there was lack of direction and tolerance for complacency and "status quo". I expect that with the Change in leadership there are great things in store for this business. Stay Tuned!

    Stay the course, the future is very bright!

    I have been working at Hostway full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Open office environment allows for collaboration across teams.
    Tech company environment vs. corporate environment.
    Everything we do has never been done before -- no "business as usual".
    Incredibly intelligent people who are willing to explain complex technology without making you feel like an idiot.
    Dogs in the office!
    Great location, lots of windows in office.
    Lots of team outings, team awards, employee recognition.
    Snacks and catered lunches.

    Cons

    New leadership changes led to some shake ups in management and direction, but things seem to be on track now.

    Off shore teams can be difficult to work with because of time and distance -- need to bring more development in-house, stateside.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to keep an open door policy and transparency. Continue to focus on product development.

    I have been working at Hostway full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Company is under new leadership, ownership and hiring new executives that believe in growing the company and sharing a common vision of being a leading company in the hosting space and a top employer. Under new leadership the company now values it's employees and understands that they are important assets. This past year with new CEO, Bob Boles, there has been more direction, transparency and employee recognition. Company also has a lot of flexibility, great work life balance, and excellent benefits plans.

    Cons

    As with any company undergoing change and growth, one con is that change takes time. It's a work in progress and can't happen overnight so expectations need to be realistic.

    Advice to Management

    Continue recognizing your employees and communicating constantly. Share a common goal and move forward, don't look behind.

    2014 has brought change, in processes, staff and leadership; With each change it has altered the culture, the future and each day it is making Hostway a place that I am excited to come into each morning.

    More communication from the top down.

    Ask everyone - do more employee focused discussions, get feedback.

    I have been working at Hostway full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people - most I've interacted with are smart, fun, and dedicated; growth potential of a company who has realized there have been some mistakes and are willing to make changes to make it better; ability to learn new things everyday from others in the company; new challenges to keep it interesting.

    Cons

    Company is still playing catch up in some areas but there has been significant progress; internal culture and communication needs to be rebuilt but there are projects in the works to help with this and there has been great improvement over the last year.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to focus on building the culture of the organization and communication between departments. That will go a long way in employee morale. Continue to increase sharing of company strategy and goals so every employee feels connected to the mission.

    I have been working at Hostway full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great office - Great people! I am genuinely happy to come into work everyday. I like the people I see everyday and we get the job done! New challenges every day even 10 years in.

    Cons

    Hostway's customer growth is slow but it is a focus of the company right now. It would also be nice if we could work to get our "name" out there. I would love to brag about where I work but no one has heard of us unless you are in the industry.

    Advice to Management

    The focus on Sales and Marketing is something we need to continue. The internal reward programs are good, but something more frequent and personal would go a long way.
