I worked at Hot Dog on a Stick part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Met some cool people, made a couple friends

    Cons

This is the worst job i've ever had, bad hours, always worked alone, unless it was a weekend. we had chores that had to be done daily and biweekly. if we didn't do our chores, we got written up. we never had time to do our chores because we worked alone and many chores were done in the back. My boss was nice, and so were some of my coworkers. But our bosses idea of making us work together was putting us AGAINST each other. didn't work, made us not want to work harder. Most of us quit around the same time. our boss kept making up rules that were pointless, and wrote us up for things that weren't job related.

    Advice to Management

Work on finding better ways to connect with employees and have at least two people working at once.

    Pros

Free food, traded food with Cinnabon. That's it.

    Cons

Horrible management. Horrible employees. The company doesn't care about its employees at all.

I worked at Hot Dog on a Stick part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Two stick items, and cool coworkers. Close commute, and discount on food items. Flexible hours and easy to request days off.

    Cons

Easy to request days off led to lack of hours, had to work shifts ALONE, low pay, criticized for everything that went bad, and the uniform took up too much time. Also, very difficult to find a cover.

    Advice to Management

Be organized with your scheduling and maybe send it a week in advanced for once.

    Pros

fun, challenging, food was pretty good, district manager was really nice, good pay

    Cons

unprofessional, unfriendly workers, workers treated me badly, let me go without telling me, bad hours, dumb uniform

    Advice to Management

I hope you are more professional when letting go of your workers. I found out I was dismissed through the mail, I had a shift I thought I was going to that same day.

I have been working at Hot Dog on a Stick part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You meet cool and funny people as your co-workers. Flexible. Easy promotion. Supportive company. The uniform is just a plus!

    Cons

No matter what you do, the pay struggle is extremely real. And, depending on the location, you sometimes deal with obnoxious people.

    Advice to Management

Leadership is learned and earned. Don't be afraid. And, make sure you give some focus to shaping the next leader with those under you.

    Pros

Hot dog on a stick had excellent management. The ownership provided percentages of the company after 5 years of service with them.

    Cons

Hot dog on a stick does not have the most appealing uniforms. However, if you can where it, you can wear anything with confidence.

    Advice to Management

I would say keep doing exactly what you are doing. The training modules provide a very structured learning platform.
