I have been working at Hot Head Burritos part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Typical Restaurant Work
Very Clean, very easy to clean!
Work is easy and face paced, customer interaction isn't awful
    flxible with trading shifts, and

    Cons

    Get used to burning yourself
    hours may not be dependable
seriously hard to hear customers behind the sneeze guard so its easy to misunderstand an order which holds up your line
job is at will, you can quit or be let go at any time.

    Advice to Management

get your management team and shift leaders on the same training level, heard it from mgmt myself that many were trained differently and training crew wrong. This can easily be fixed.

I worked at Hot Head Burritos full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free manager meal during your shift. You can wear jeans to work. There are no other "pros" to working here.

    Cons

No benefits for salary employees. No training provided for new hires in any position. They expect you to work well over scheduled hours but still don't pay you for the extra time. Not enough communication from higher ups to the store management. Overall a very chaotic system from the top down. Expectations to perform tasks without given the proper tools and equipment to do so. (I can't temp meat before I pull it off the grill if I don't have a working thermometer.)

    Advice to Management

It's time to care less about the brand and the franchise growth, and put more energy into improving the individual stores. You need to pay employees the amount that you expect them to give back in their work. If you pay your employees a better wage, they will work harder and perform better. Lastly, employees are not robots. A little empathy and support would go a long way to making your stores more successful.

I have been working at Hot Head Burritos full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Hot head burritos has opportunities for those who want to develop themselves and work hard.

    Cons

Lots of hours, overall employee quality is lacking putting a lot of extra weight on the shoulders of those who do care.

    Advice to Management

Corporate needs to create more training materials that every store is required to use.
