    Pros

Competitive pay. You are able to work part-time if that's what you're looking for. You will work with some very intelligent people here.

    Cons

Minimal support from top management. Total disregard for one's personal life. Bad scheduling. Limited opportunities for advancement. You will end up doing two jobs for the pay of one.

    Advice to Management

Stop running the hotel on a couple of nickles. Employee reward should not be taken lightly. Give raises to those who deserve it.

I have been working at Hotel Phillips full-time

    Pros

The best part about this property is the work atmosphere. All of the departments really get along and are friendly with everyone. The GM is very accessible, as well as other department heads. There are lots of opportunities to cross train.

    Cons

Some departments are short staffed for extended periods of time. Sometimes staff does not have equipment they need.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate budgetary forecasts, and consider getting department staff feedback more often, so that the property is adequately equipped.

  7. "Family"

    Pros

You might start off slow at first, they will make you feel like family. Everybody has a understanding that everyone comes from a different background and we are not here to judge.

    Cons

At times when working constantly you will get frustrated and little spats might occur. Nothing serious, family like lol. You will sometimes get upset over miscommunication that sometimes happen..
