    I worked at Hotwire Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I thought this position would open many doors in my career, not the least of which being upward mobility within the company. I also thought that having a woman running the company would mean better workplace practices, management styles, and protection against harassment, abuse, and discrimination. I was incredibly wrong, as my termination and injuries make obvious.

    Sexual harassment, sexual assault, workplace hostility, discrimination based on disabilities, nepotism, inappropriate sexual behaviors, derogatory gossip, deliberate misinformation, managers swearing employees to secrecy (OVER AND OVER AGAIN "If you tell anyone this, I will deny it"), and concerted efforts to campaign internally against one another, while evading the truth and outright lying in front of customers and...

    You need an operations and HR OVERHAUL. You need to value your workforce and better protect them from the atrocities and abuses I endured while employed with you. You need to listen when employees speak out, the way I did. Your upper leadership teams need BASIC training in management, education on harassment and reporting assault and abuse, and accountability for ALL team members, ESPECIALLY leaders, who are abusing their...
