I worked at Hotwire Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company is a great company to work for. Corporate upper leadership seems like they really care about their employees. The owner does a lot of nice things for her employees. We’ve had Health Awareness Checks, She shows us she appreciates us with Employee Appreciation Days where she will buy her employees, lunch, basketball tickets, and airline tickets to Florida to attend the 5K run. Overall Hotwire Communications...

    Cons

Now here is where the problems lies. The manager in Florida: awesome The manager in Philadelphia: awesome But that manager that we have here in Georgia: Recipe for Disaster. She doesn’t even deserve to have the title as manager. She is lazy, she doesn’t know ANYTHING, she is rude, arrogant, She has a very smart mouth. When I tell you this woman is lazy, she is LAZY. All she does is sits in her office and watch TV...

    Advice to Management

My advice to the great corporate staff that we have would be Is to bring another manager into the office that cares about the company and its brand. This manager will cause the company a lawsuit one day because she refuses to follow the company laws and mission statement. You cannot give certain people power and this is one of those people. She abuses it. working in Georgia feels like being in jail and prison at the...

I worked at Hotwire Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Starting pay rate, the desks are huge and roomy, TV break room, and training manager was also great.

    Cons

The managers are not helpful at all and they act like they don’t want to help. Too much attitudes and that please don’t bother me face 24/7. Lots of gossip and drama. Please do not come here you will just be looking for another job within another few weeks because nobody wants to work in this type of environment.

    Advice to Management

Do not take on a position if you don’t want to help your agents. It has a big impact on the company and just causes more mistakes and more people leaving.

I have been working at Hotwire Communications full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Tucker location has a nice building and the landscaping is impeccable. Great balcony view and interior lining reminds of a time of the late 1800's. Has a plantation feel.

    Cons

Management is horrifically cruel in Georgia. Gossip girls, bullying and ghetto tactics is the everyday normalcy. Fraternizing and favoritism is the only way you'll move up this very short ladder of corporate America. Customer Service Manager is twisted and sadistic and wears two different faces and is overly nice when upper management comes to town. She also changes the employee handbook to her liking and every one who...

    Advice to Management

Stop taking everything at face value, dig deep. People can only wear the mask for so long. Visit your company and trust your gut before it's too late to salvage the damage. Food days are not going to pacify this.

    Advice to Management

Nice to have notification of something that every one should know be notified to all, not just one or two people.

Steady work, and they provided coffee.

No management communication between lower management. No accountability for errors on customer accounts. Can't depend on supervisor's promises. Not an amiable work environment. Was not working position I was hired for and promised. (Technician)

    Advice to Management

Teach these young managers some human resource skills when dealing with employees. take responsibility. Engage in team meetings, explain new procedures and policies when they are created.

    Advice to Management

Slow down your horizontal expansion and focus on a little bit of retrenchment and consolidation. Provide better service to your existing clientele. Allow for full life cycle follow up with customers and stop just sweeping things under the rug. Take your more educated reps and promote them. Give people better pay and benefits. Stop lying about bonuses. Make training for new hires more thorough. Give people a pathway to...
