    I worked at Hotwire Communications full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Good experience, some smart and competent people, good product

    Cons

    No care whatsoever for employee development or employee happiness. Very little appreciation for your work, no raises, no bonuses, no performance reviews. Incompetent people are retained, competent people are forced to leave due to the poor compensation and lack of care.

    Advice to Management

    CEO must give up power to other execs. Start caring about your employees more. CEO must change attitude and embrace role as a leader.

      Fast Growing telecom fiber optic company serving the eastern seaboard. good benefits, good people, opp to grow

      Better management is always good, as creating a strong bond between managers and staff. does not give raises or perks.

      I worked at Hotwire Communications full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      There are some really good people working here at the lower levels and manager levels. GM/VP are inexperienced in how to run a proper business.

      Cons

      Top management is very weak. Lack strategy, very short-term - revenue at expense of customer satisfaction. All those comments about misleading customers and not providing service is true!

      Grow up. Customer happiness is key to long-term success here
