    Pros

Some nice people that work here, particularly at the analyst level

    Pros

Super Smart and Nice People (at least to your face). You just learn so much!

    Cons

First, from day 1 they said they do not over-hire interns, but they only gave around 30% return offers. I was told I scored 100% in every category in my reviews, but I didn't a return offer and was given no reasons.
You get super long hours like other banks.

    Advice to Management

Do not lie to your interns that you don't over-hire. About 30% of summer interns got return offers.

I have been working at Houlihan Lokey full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting middle market clients and large office if one desires to be based in Los Angeles. Historically pay in line with street.

    Cons

Pay has slipped in recent years given amount of workload. Some corporate finance industry groups are having difficulties and this is directly impacting mid to junior level employees.
