    Pros

The people are amazing and the work can be exciting. The variety of clients made every project different even though the campaigns were templated.

    Cons

There wasn't much room to grow, my role expanded only when my managers moved on or were laid off. The layoffs were frequent in my 5 years there, though it appears they are only a skeleton crew now.

There were lots of internal politics which resulted in top people being let go (or they left on their own) and some very questionable people kept their jobs.

The pay was good but they changed benefit providers often, which was very difficult to keep up with.

    Advice to Management

    .

    Pros

All employees were very helpful, the Marketing manager was extremely nice and the HR lady was nice as well.

    Cons

Cons is they would need a bigger office for such a vast growing company

I worked at House Party full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The team is very collaborative, great to work with and are all working hard to make the company successful. Most employees have been at House Party for years so they are experts in their field, and many have chipped in on other teams so they really know the business as a whole. The core product is a real asset to the industry and produces very impressive results.

    Cons

As they are still in startup mode, resources are very limited.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the core product and hold everyone on the team accountable. Empower employees to take ownership and pride in their work. Continue to be transparent about business outlook and future opportunities.

I worked at House Party full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cool location, young employees, management is approachable, free stuff laying around from clients.

    Cons

Poor resource allocation, short sighted growth planning, very cliquey, no advancement opportunity, fear management rules the space.

    Advice to Management

Production scalability needs to be a higher priority, sales must adhere to true deliverables, must find a better way to ensure hosting of parties actually occurs.
