    Helping people who need clothes and food and to empower them to live a better lifestyle.

    Cons

    You feel sorry for people but you cannot take it personal.

    Pros

    Great Experience, lots of responsibility. Direct work with forensic dual diagnosis drug and alcohol clients. Tremendous experience with one-on-one intakes and counseling. Lead daily therapeutic group sessions. Lead daily therapeutic education; syllabus/course materials are provided, so class preparation is minimized; however, to make the classes fun, it takes thought and prep time. It is possible to work with senior staff in developing relevant programming, Very fair management.

    Cons

    Long Hours for the pay. High client to staff ratio, high demands from needy client population. Lots and lots of paperwork.

    Rresponsive, great about continuing education, diversity.
