    Pros

Super great experience and overall a great place to work. Great people, tons of options to network, work with tons of people.

    Cons

Favoritism is very evident. Come in with coffee and you will go farther. The more you can come in and socialize the better you will be and more events you'll get picked for.

I worked at Houston Texans (More than a year)

    Pros

A true top workplace. Jamey Rootes (President) is an awesome, engaging leader. The company meetings are like business meetings on steroids - so fun but meaningful to the business. The people are high quality and super passionate about what they do. Benefits are among the best I've experienced. People have high expectations in your work and make you want to be better. Free lunch and drinks. Culture is strong.

    Cons

Definitely a work hard, play hard mentality. Expect long hours. But they take care of employees when they can to make up for it.

    Advice to Management

Keep at it! Keep listening to employee feedback on the surveys and making improvements.

Be aware of the type of people that you are employing. Realize that this is a stepping stone for some of the employees and a party to others. Be mindful that the people that value this job should be rewarded for their loyalty and hard work with real opportunities.

I worked at Houston Texans full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very fast paced, high energy, high caliber, high expectations, high quality. Very intelligent work force.

    Cons

No time to smell the roses. So performance driven that relationships are overlooked. High stress. The company demands a ton from employees so family tends to suffer. It's always what have you done for me lately and appreciation seems fleeting.

    Advice to Management

Build for the long term with employees. Realize that while performance and results are extremely important so is compassion, relaxation, and consistent appreciation.
