I worked at Hubbell full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Paycheck arrives on time and they do believe in quality products

    Cons

Oh there are so many to list... tired and antiquated company still operating on processes from decades past. Senior management located in home office sends down commands for subsidiaries to follow. Almost like working for a communist organization and very strict on rules and culture. Lately hiring less qualified people solely based on trying to improve the bottom line. This company is the definition of smoke and mirrors and is on the road downhill to a long decline.

I worked at Hubbell full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good benefits and compensation. Nice building

    Cons

Lay off are commonplace. They are outsourcing to Mexico and India to save a few dollars and don’t care about how long you have been there

I have been working at Hubbell full-time

    Pros

Great campus with plenty of perks: onsite cafeteria, gym, Starbucks, nurse, available dry cleaning and prescription drop-off.

    Cons

Pay is on the lower end, insurance is expensive, and for people on the lower end of the pay scale, takes quite a bit out of our pay. Desk sharing is only permitted for certain positions, even though most positions would be able to desk share.

I have been working at Hubbell

    Pros

Great people to work with. Nice facilities and benefits. Always something new in the works to benefit employees.

    Cons

Need better communication between departments and brands; Most managers have "teachers pets" so a lot of unfairness goes unnoticed by management. They are SLOW at hiring new people, their "max 10%" raise when switching jobs is ridiculous. Wrong people getting promoted
