I worked at Hudson City Bancorp full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I loved my job and enjoyed the people I worked with. We worked well together and I would still be there, if the bank hadn't merged with M&T.

    Cons

Close to 400 people lost their jobs on account of the merger with M&T Bank.

    Advice to Management

I enjoyed my last supervisor and department head. I only wish something could have been done to save more of our jobs. However, that decision was out of their control as well.
