I worked at Hudson Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working with a very diverse team, getting to meet so many people traveling

    Cons

4 am to whenever your job is done was never in anything I had ever signed. Most day you work 12 to 16 hours and then you are expected to be back in 4 hours for your 12 to 16 hour shift again. The regional managers are completely insane. When you are opening new stores you will get to see all upper management yell cuss and scream at everyone. Sometimes you will see them have a temper tantrum on the construction workers , then witness the whole construction team walk out. For $50,000 a year you can find much better jobs

    Advice to Management

You need to treat people with respect, listening to you employees when there are problems and not ignoring them. Stop the yelling and backstabbing. Duffey will eventually take over Hudson group and start shutting things down

I have been working at Hudson Group full-time

    Pros

If you end up with a good group of workers as I did, you'll feel less weight on your shoulders from the start.

    Cons

Hours are not completely given. I advice who ever applies for this job to state first hand how many hours they want to work for no later inconvenience.

    Advice to Management

Be more open with associates bout tasks and/or job requirements.

    Pros

Airports nice. Theres nothing really nice about this job, seriously nothing.

    Cons

This place just downright sucks. You work 9 hours a day and get half an hour break. You have to stand up straight like a stick for most of the day.If they see you slouching or leaning you get a warning.

    Advice to Management

LOOSEN TF UP. These guy love to mulipulate you into doing anything they want. They expect you to do their dirty work for them.

    Pros

    Co-workers are awesome.
Majority of the customers are great
Work can be fun especially with the right people

    Cons

    Management SUCKS
They approve days off and then still put you on the schedule for that day. I almost had to miss my graduation even though I told them 2 months in advance

    Advice to Management

REPLACE the upper management. They fired me for a no call no show that did not happen, because the manager that fired me told me that I came to work that day. Management needs to be cleaned out, there are supervisors that can do a MUCH better job

    Pros

There is nothing redeemable with this company.

    Cons

They treat all staff as numbers, not people. They have no clue of guest service. they are concerned with make a dollar and not the health or safety of their staff or guests.

    Advice to Management

Learn to see people and not just staff numbers. CEO visits locations and does not greet any of the staff. Both hourly and salaried!

I worked at Hudson Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good chance to work with a team. Plenty of learning. Fast paced, which makes the day go by fast.

    Cons

Terrible hours. It's implied that you should stay 9 to 12 hours a day.
Salary. I was definitely doing a lot more that I feel I was compensated for.
Management. The upper management's was so reactionary. They had that "we will fix that problem once it arrives" mentality.

    Advice to Management

If you are applying for warehouse manager, stand your ground and negotiate your salary. Know that you will have 3 people you will need to answer to directly if there is a problem.
