I worked at Hughes Enterprises, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The goods and services provided by this company will always be in demand. Outstanding employees. Exciting, fast-paced work environment. 401k and other amenities including a gym and personal trainer.

    Cons

Safety practices were unsatisfactory. No one held accountable for the safety or performance of subordinates. Salaries far below average for comparable businesses.

    Advice to Management

Adjust salaries according to economic inflation. Consider employer provided healthcare to full-time and salaried employees. Seek further compliance with general safety practices and procedures.

I worked at Hughes Enterprises, Inc. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They put a lot of effort into training new employees. The management team took pride in educating the sales staff and finding new ways to improve their approach in the packaging and industrial markets.

    Cons

The sales territories were very established. The biggest challenge was finding a gap in territories that weren't already claimed by senior reps.

I worked at Hughes Enterprises, Inc. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    The checks do not bounce.

    Cons

It went from a "Were all in this together to make this company great" mindset, to a "I got mine good luck getting yours" attitude. The workload is not distributed fairly, and neither are the fruits of labor. Its the age old lesson of life, its not what you know, or how good you are, its who you know.

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of the sand. Reward the producer, not the politician.
