I worked at Hunt Leibert Jacobson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free coffee (although weak as water) and tea; paid 30 min lunches; relaxed dress code; ability to listen to music while working.

    Cons

I only gave the firm a 1 because I had to select something, otherwise I would've given a 0. Cons? Where do I begin. Favoritism, lack of communication, lack of training, NO employee morale, incompetent managers who spend all day gossipping, talking about their kids and covering their hind parts instead of showing any care and concern for employees and training them to do their jobs. Upper management doesn't care what goes on beneath them and certainly don't want to hear from those on the bottom of the totem pole.

    Advice to Management

Fire every team lead/manager and hire new managerial staff who know how to treat people. Diversify your management workforce!!!! Provide more opportunities to people of color.

    Pros

Casual work environment; Free Coffee; HR holds events to try and boost morale.

    Cons

Lack of support and direction is demoralizing. Emotionally abusive at times. Never see partners taking an interest.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to truly listen to employees and whatever input they give about the job. Treat people with dignity.

I have been working at Hunt Leibert Jacobson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can wear jeans and a sweatshirt if you would like. There are some nice people that work there. They have been trying to build moral lately by having "fun" events. (Some of them more fun than others).

    Cons

You receive minimal training and are then expected to know what you are doing. Team leads and managment often yell and swear at people. The work is tedious.

    Advice to Management

Keep building moral by having diferent events. Give fair raises anually. Encourage team leads to stop yelling and swearing at employees.

I have been working at Hunt Leibert Jacobson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Listen to music while working, if they like you, you can pretty much do what you want. The work itself is common sense and easy to learn if you make an effort.

    Cons

Gossip and a lot of bullying, I have known numerous people who have made complaints with HR and also filed complaints about supervisors who have been there for so long they get away with whatever they want. Once the complaint is made, nothing is done, the head attorneys do not get wind of it and it stays the same.People are high almost everyday when they come in to work and no one cares. If you have a good work ethic, it slowly starts to deteriorate because what matters is who you socialize with or who you tattle on.

    Advice to Management

Do a sweep of the "team leads" with a few exceptions and put new ones in place who are not favorites to upper management. Make EVERYONE follow the same rules and not the ones who are favorites and walk around all day harrassing good employees.

I worked at Hunt Leibert Jacobson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Casual dress code, listen to music with headphones while you work, and they do give you 30 minute paid lunch break.

    Cons

Little or no training, no proper leadership or support, health plan constantly changing and going up. Managment never wants to hear concerns you are to do your job and be quiet. Extreme favoritism is a problem.

    Advice to Management

Learn to take ownership and responsibility of the flaws in the firm and you would retain good employees with experience.

Train and implement a system to pick up the pieces if someone leaves, if you took the time to give the tools necessary to do the job correct the first time than you would not end up with a back log every time someone leaves or issues with a client.

Listen to your employees when they approach you with issues and concerns instead of closing off and immediately dismissing them as complaining. They might be addressing the issues they see daily and could brining ideas and resolutions to the table.

    Pros

Great job to work in, plenty of work and very interesting and informative.

    Cons

Upper Management swears and yells at employees, lie, gossip, no confidentiality in the workplace. Lots of harrassement and if upper management does not like you, you get fired. Sexual Harassment and threats to do physical harm.

    Advice to Management

    Act professionally.

    Pros

Casual dress code. You get your own cubicle. No one breathes down your neck unless there is a problem!

    Cons

Lots of office gossip by fellow co-workers. A lot of favoritism! No business ethics and morals among the office culture pertaining to how people treat each other! People steal company time by taking breaks that are too long, web surfing and Internet shopping on company time, and people bully you if you're a newbie.

    Advice to Management

Instill code of ethics. Have one week of administrative training and another week of job duty training before sticking a employee with a incompetent co-worker that is training the new hire so no important information is left out.

I have been working at Hunt Leibert Jacobson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The relaxed dress code and being able to listen music. Also having a paid half hour lunch is great.

    Cons

Management's lack of professionalism, support and knowledge of staff. The foreclosure process is so far broken down that everyone is all over the place. Ppl constantly quitting. Those who are hard workers are never asked or considered in anything.

    Advice to Management

Learn professionalism, give raises to those who deserve it. More than chump change.. Ppl are paid at all different ranges so someone is being taken advantage of.
