      Approves of CEO

I have been working at Huntington Ingalls Industries full-time for more than a year

      Pros

The best part of working here is the people. Very upbeat, intelligent people to be around. It’s a very steady job.

      Cons

Parking is very stressful, the hours are demanding and the projects are understaffed.

      Advice to Management

Focus on properly manning projects. Offer more benefits for backshift work and on-call demands.

      No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Huntington Ingalls Industries full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Company encouragers employees to go back to school to get higher education degrees. The company is very helpful with modifying work schedule to work with things going in in your life.

      Cons

Not much potential to move up in the company. Senior employees that are suppose to train entry level employees refuse to and upper management is ok with this.
