    Pros

Benefit package is very good, staff and customer base are fantastic, clean work environment.

    Cons

Low salary, upper management only focused on sales goals, customer service is no longer necessary. huge disconnect between management and staff.

    Advice to Management

If you do not keep focus on the client in terms of customer service and satisfaction your sales will not continue to grow, no matter how many calls are made, how much intimidation is placed on staff, how many people you replace and start with new teams. You must service you clients in all areas, who ever heard of making an appointment to talk to the sales staff. If you are using clients money to operate, and they want to talk to a manager they manager should always be available to them. You are losing customer loyalty and trust when you keep replacing experienced staff because they cannot hit unrealistic sales goals

    Pros

The Pay and Benefits were good and the location to work were convenient. I enjoyed the co-workers that I work with.

    Cons

Culture has changed drastically in the past year. Senior Management is all about the bottom line and don't care who they step on to get there. Many employees hate their jobs. Employee satisfaction very low at ALL levels.

    Advice to Management

Quit being about the bottom line. The drive to save and make money in the short term will work but will drive off top performers and be a hindrance to the growth long-term.

    Pros

Great Benefits and professional environment. People willing to help and support for problem resolution for customers was strong.

    Cons

Manager has complete control of your production. Unrealistic expectations for lending in the entire state of Michigan. No chain of command to control branch managers, employees can be be mistreated and do nothing.

    Advice to Management

Management never gave me a response or even a chance to respond to false numbers and left of production numbers. If the manager meets there numbers they will not be questions, Get some stones and find out the truth. No chain of command to control branch managers, employees can be be mistreated and do nothing.

It isn't volunteering. You get paid. Benefits are descent. Most coworkers are pleasant. Community volunteering with disadvantaged youths in Ohio.

    Cons

Work place bullying, Micro-managing, poor communication, inconsistent job responsibility changes, poor listening skills displayed by management. Unwilling to answer questions.

    Advice to Management

Learn from the leadership class you have taken. Certificate means nothing without putting what you have been taught into action.

I have been working at Huntington National Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to work with other people who share the same beliefs that they took our pay away with this new incentive program. Have to earn REVENUE all month. This is the new buzz word going around, revenue. Have to earn at least $300 in revenue in order to receive any incentive.

    Cons

You can't share your feelings with other co-workers or management. You will get nasty notes and emails from management to not talk to your neighbors.

    Advice to Management

Bring back a better compensation plan for your staff. You will be losing some great people more and more everyday. I have been telling others not to apply here, you can't live on the income.
