    Pros

Huntington is a company that cares about their customers and employees. The products that Huntington offers are second to none. Huntington continues to expand which allows for amazing career growth! Competitive Pay and great incentive plan to reward performance.

    Cons

The In-Store hours are great for customers, but consequently require employees to work on a Sunday rotation.

    Pros

CEO is progressive thinking and innovative. Turned the bank around from the brink of failure. Good benefits package. Competitive products.

    Cons

Thin staffing to reduce overhead. High employee turnover as a result. Most employees are overworked and overwhelmed. Slow to upgrade technology.

    Advice to Management

Increase compensation to stay competitive in the marketplace with other banks and the company will be able to reduce employee turnover.

    Pros

Decent pay depending on your level.

    Cons

Branches run on as minimal staffing as possible so god forbid someone calls off or goes on vacation. Also promotional opportunities are a joke. Hope you like where you start because that's where you're going to stay.

I have been working at Huntington National Bank full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very community driven company with over 2000 employee's logging over 20,000 volunteer hours. The company's envolvment with Pelotonia (cancer research fund raising bike ride) is phenominal.

    Cons

They use a "self-funded" insurance plan that is a complete failure. You earn upto $750 for employee and spouse (1500 tot) if you both complete a variety of welness challenges. The best plan has a $3,000 ann ded that must be met BEFORE your insurance coveres 80%...that $3,000 is ontop of the several hundreds of dollars in payroll deductions just to have the policy...unless you go to the dr for every sniffle, sneeze, and cough...its a total waste of your money as you will not get the value out of it you are paying for. I opted for the lesser plan...couple hundred every check but I have a $13,000 ann ded then they cover 100%. Then there is the Rx coverage which if you have a kid on adhd meds...you will be broke...FAST

    Advice to Management

Fix this!! Listen to your people. When a townhall comes up and you ask for questions to be submitted...you always get asked "will we be getting normal insurance again". COME ON...TALE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES!

    Pros

The on boarding process was very thorough. First class benefit offering and technology platform.

    Cons

Work experience is varied based on the location, culture is crafted and managed by the local regional manager. High turnover with service staff, therefore client experience was inconsistent.

    Advice to Management

Invest in customer service staff for retention to provide consistent high quality customer service.

    Pros

Good benefits, interesting corporate personality more of small town bank feel than others, willing to hire non traditional bankers, compensation better than most banks. Big in community development at least ohio

    Cons

the dress code is ridiculous, hard to manage work life balance due to odd hours, if you're too good they wont move you.

    Advice to Management

It is very difficult to move up when management needs you. Please have a way to apply for licenses without your manager being able to block you.

    Pros

There are no pros while working for this guy.

    Cons

The manager needs medical attention as he suffers from many disorders

    Advice to Management

Get a new manager that actually knows how to treat customers and employees and one that will actually do his job instead of leaving all the time.

    Cons

Customer service is difficult with high demands from upper management. In minutes you could be faced with multiple new objections to overcome and deadlines to meet

    Advice to Management

Let up on the reigns and trust the right people in the right positions
