Top Review Highlights by Sentiment
- "Executive leadership often over promises services and lacks the talent or structure to deliver quality work." (in 3 reviews)
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
It was a good place to work.
Cons
I often needed to work OT
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
One major client at least means work is coming in relatively steadily. You can get pop for free. If you're looking for experience right out of college, this CAN be of value but don't stay too long.
Cons
One major client means you work on the same things, again and again, making work pretty draining over time. Teams felt cliquey after a while, with it being easy to not even know the names of other people in the small company, and often teams will actively root against one another because each one thinks they do the most and deserve the most praise but in reality, praise is rarely given for high-quality work. There's little chance of moving up within the company, everything is a lateral move and pay raises feel like pulling teeth to earn. Heck, cost of living adjustments are rarely given unless you plead for them, and even then, no additional raise may be offered during your time here. Some of the directors are honestly too good for this place and deserve to be somewhere where their talents are more appreciated/wanted.

Pros
Hurrdat Social Media is a solid company that’s about as stable and established as they come. If you’re looking for job security you’ll find it here. If you’re looking for experience and opportunities to develop your skills, you’ll find that too.
Cons
What you won’t find are the opportunities for promotions you get at a lot bigger companies where the work environment is more toxic and people leave often. It’s good in a lot of ways, but not if you’re looking to move up quickly.

Pros
The work environment is surprisingly relaxed. Don’t get me wrong, there’s always a lot to do in a day, but no one is going to stress you out or make you feel like the building’s on fire every time a deadline approaches.
Cons
Some people take this a little too far and need a bit more hustle in their work ethic.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
I’ve learned a lot over the past few years.
Cons
It’s hard to advance because people in higher-level positions rarely leave, which is your best bet for moving up in a company this size.
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
At the end of the day, it’s a cushy job that pays well.
Cons
Not easy to find a good work-life balance.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
So far it’s better than I was expecting. Based on some of the reviews on here I was expecting nothing short of misery and it hasn’t even been close to that.
Cons
Time will tell but so far things seem pretty normal to me.
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
It’s been really good so far.
Cons
Nothing so far, but we’ll see.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Exactly what I said – the pros are a great team and a great atmosphere
Cons
Not everyone can handle the workload
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
The training is where this company shines. No matter how educated you are, you’ll learn a ton when you first start out.
Cons
Not enough time off each year.
