Some good people work for this small town company with a great history of almost 180 years. Some of the products are rock solid while others lack attention. Great location and grounds in the woods of Maine close to the coast.
Penny wise and dollar stupid. Management seems to ignore customer feedback while acting as if they care. Incredibly slow at times to respond to quality/warranty issues which often leads to customers feeling as if they are on their own. The industry has continuous margin pressure with little opportunity for growth. Competition is also increasing.
Advice to Management
Listen to your customers and support them with more than lip service. Be less passive.
